Technical Requirements

Video File

• Format: MP4, MOV, or MKV
• Resolution: 1080p minimum (4K preferred)
• Codec: H.264 or H.265
• Audio: AAC or AC3, stereo or 5.1

Poster Artwork

• Portrait Poster (2:3): 2000 x 3000 pixels minimum
• Apple TV Poster (3:4): 2400 x 3200 pixels minimum
• Banner (16:9): 1920 x 1080 pixels minimum
• Format: JPG or PNG, RGB color space

Captions

• English SDH captions required
• Format: SRT or VTT
• Timecodes must match your video

Important: Films Already on YouTube

If your film is currently on YouTube, you may still submit it, but you must:

1. Provide the current YouTube URL in your submission
2. Completely delete the video from YouTube (not just make it private or unlisted)
3. Wait 30 days from deletion before we can publish it on our channel

This waiting period ensures YouTube's content ID system properly clears and prevents copyright conflicts.
