14. Viblu TV

Added October 12, 2026. Viblu TV is our free streaming service: the website at https://tv.viblu.com, the Viblu TV apps for Amazon Fire TV and other TV devices, and the advertiser portal at https://tv.viblu.com/advertise/. This section explains how Viblu TV handles information. Sections 1 to 13 also apply to Viblu TV, except where this section says otherwise; where they differ, this section governs Viblu TV.

14.1 Watching: no account, no contact details

Viblu TV is free to watch. You do not need an account, and we do not ask viewers for their name, email address or any other contact details. When you watch, we receive:

  • A random device ID. The first time you open Viblu TV, the app or website creates a random code and keeps it on your device. It is not your name, your Amazon account or your device’s advertising identifier, and it is not linked to them. We use it only so that an ad view is counted once and the same ad is not shown to you too often.
  • Ad view reports. When an ad plays, your device tells us which ad it was, on which channel or film, and whether it reached a quarter, half, three quarters and the end, together with the random device ID.
  • Technical and log data. Our servers and our video delivery network receive your IP address, the type of device and browser, the addresses requested and the time. We use this to deliver the video, keep the service secure and stop abuse.
  • Information kept only on your device. Where you stopped a film (for “Continue watching”) and how many times you saw each ad today. This stays on your device and is not sent to us, except as part of the ad view reports above.

14.2 Advertising on Viblu TV

Viblu TV is funded by advertising. Ads are chosen by the channel or film you are watching, the time of day and the advertiser’s campaign settings. They are not chosen from a profile of you, your viewing history or your activity on other sites and apps. We do not use third-party advertising networks, advertising cookies or your device’s advertising identifier, and we do not give advertisers any information about individual viewers: they receive only totals for their own campaigns (for example “1,250 views, 82% watched to the end”). If we ever work with outside advertising partners, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

The legal basis for counting ad views and limiting repetition is our legitimate interest in offering Viblu TV free of charge, funded by advertising. You can object to it (Section 7); the simplest way is to clear Viblu TV’s data, as described in 14.5.

14.3 Advertiser accounts

Businesses that advertise on Viblu TV give us account details (company or brand name, name, email address, a password stored only as a salted one-way hash, and optionally phone number, country and tax or VAT number), their ads and campaign settings, and billing records (balance, top-ups, charges). Card payments are handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe; card details never reach our servers. We also record when the advertiser terms were accepted and a one-way code derived from the IP address at that moment, as evidence of acceptance. We use this information to run the account, review ads, run campaigns, process payments and send service messages. Advertiser accounts are for adults (18 and over) acting for a business.

14.4 Who receives Viblu TV data

  • Bunny (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia), which stores our videos and delivers them to your device; it receives your IP address and the video addresses requested. Its delivery network serves video from locations near you.
  • Our hosting provider in the United States, Stripe for advertisers’ payments, and our email delivery for messages to advertisers.
  • App stores: when you download a Viblu TV app, the store (for example the Amazon Appstore) handles the download under its own privacy policy.

14.5 Device storage and cookies

Watching Viblu TV sets no cookies and no analytics. The app and website keep these items in your device’s storage: vtv_dev (the random device ID), vtv_seen (ads seen today, replaced each day) and vtv_resume (where you stopped each film). The advertiser portal uses WordPress sign-in cookies only when you sign in, and Stripe sets its own cookies only on its payment page. To reset or remove this data, clear Viblu TV’s data on your device (on Fire TV: Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > Viblu TV > Clear data) or clear your browser’s site data for tv.viblu.com. Because we do not know who viewers are, this deletes the device ID; reports already counted cannot be linked back to you. To ask us about a specific device ID, contact us with the device and the date.

14.6 How long we keep it

Ad view reports are counted within minutes and then deleted. To count each view only once, we keep a one-way code of each counted view for about two days; after that only totals per campaign and day remain, with no device IDs. Server and security logs are kept for up to about 30 days. Advertiser account, billing and consent records are kept as described in Section 6.

14.7 Children

Watching Viblu TV is open to a general audience and needs no account, but Viblu TV is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Section 10 (18 and over) applies to Viblu AI Film Studio accounts and to advertiser accounts. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
