Cinematic Clean
Default
Sharpest
Crisp, modern widescreen. Clinically sharp primes, deep focus, no filtration and no grain, with a still camera, so faces and textures keep the most detail a render can give.

Directing Method
How every scene is PERFORMED and STAGED — the acting, physical action, line delivery and sound written into each shot. The shot designer obeys it. Professional naturalism, no overacting, unless you say otherwise.
📖 The shipped defaults are loaded — edit them now if you like. Generate the Production Bible first, then “✨ Tailor to this film” can match the method to its genre and tone.
🎬 What the shot designer will be told
DIRECTING METHOD — obey this when writing every shot's performance, physical action, line delivery and sound. Overall calibration: naturalistic performances, restrained (anti-overacting), balanced staging, moderate sound. CORE: Direct real behaviour, not "acting". The camera is close; truth reads and performance leaks. Play the subtext, not the line. A held look beats a gesture. Let beats land in stillness and silence. PERFORMANCE: One clear emotional beat per shot; name the character's objective and the obstacle. Micro-expression over broad expression — the eyes and breath first. A reaction begins a beat before the line that triggers it, and is smaller than expected. Calibrate every performance to that character's bible acting-profile and the real screen performance it names. DELIVERY: Direct how a line is said, not just what: pace, pauses, where the breath falls, what is thrown away versus loaded. People underplay the important line. Allow overlap, hesitation, and trailing off. Never announce the emotion in the voice. ACTION & BLOCKING: Specific physical business with weight and timing: how a character enters, crosses, settles; what the hands do; behaviour while NOT speaking. Every movement is motivated by the objective, never by "filling the frame". SOUND: Layer diegetic sound: foley of the actual action, room tone, and near/far ambience. Silence is a deliberate choice. Music only as a cue, never wall-to-wall. NEVER (anti-overacting): No mugging, no theatrical double-takes, no telegraphed or announced emotion, no cartoon faces, no over-gesturing, no eyebrow "reaction" acting, no everyone-reacts-at-once. Nothing louder than life. SITUATION PLAYBOOK — apply the ones that fit this scene: - Dialogue: Let the listener act as much as the speaker. Hold on reactions. People look away to think and back to land a point. - Confrontation: Lower the volume as the stakes rise; stillness reads as threat. One person moves, the other holds. - Tension/Suspense: Restraint and delay. Small controlled actions, held breath, eyeline flicks. The room tone does the work. - Action: Clarity over chaos: legible geometry, real weight and impact, recovery after exertion. Effort shows on the body, not the face. - Intimate/Quiet: Proximity and quiet. Micro-gestures, unfinished sentences, touch. Let silences breathe. - Comedy: Play it straight and committed — the character never knows it is funny. Timing lives in the pause, not the mugging. - Exposition: Give the character something to DO while they talk; bury the information under behaviour so it never sounds like a briefing. COVERAGE METHOD — MASTER FIRST: design real-production coverage. Open with ONE wide, CONTINUOUS master that holds the WHOLE scene and cast in frame (shot as two cameras, A wide + B tighter favour, of the same continuous take), then cut ECONOMICALLY: a single on each character who carries a beat, and an insert ONLY where a prop or action is the point. No OTS pairs, no reaction shots for their own sake. Aim for three to five shots in total, including the master. Every angle MUST match the master's exact blocking, screen sides, wardrobe, props and light; only the camera changes. NEVER add an angle that shows nothing the master does not already show.

🎥 Coverage methodMaster + angles
The only method: one continuous wide MASTER (2 cameras A/B) holds the whole scene, then singles · OTS · inserts · reactions cut against it — every angle matches the master’s blocking, so AI-generated video stays consistent.
